Online Classes during lockdown: From Friday 8 May 6pm - 7:15 pm 

Yoga and Relaxation (one hour) via Zoom

 

This session will start with some gentle Asanas (movements) to stretch and mobilise muscles. We will then move to a beautifully relaxing Yoga Nidra. This is a verbally guided relaxation which slowly moves you through a rotation of consciousness into a deep state of release from muscular, emotional and mental tensions. It's said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is as restful as four hours of conventional sleep.

 

Ideally please have ready:

- A mat or non slip floor

-A belt (or scarf or T-shirt) for stretches

- A large hard-backed book or yoga block to sit on

- A blanket to keep warm

 

The Zoom meeting will open from 17:50 (British time) to allow everyone to settle and we will start at 18:00.

 

Cost - By donations if your circumstances allow (£5 suggested)

In these classes, we move through sequences of classical yoga postures that develop strength and flexibility in our physical bodies. I incorporate flowing sequences and like to create an immersive atmosphere filling the studio with fabulous aromas, music. essential oils and the option of some hands on relaxation towards the end of the class.
